Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Sur-geons and 4 issues are published every year. It welcomes original articles, interesting case reports, up-date articles, book reviews, journal abstracts and research papers in Ophthalmology. Dates of forthcoming conferences and CME’s are also published. Original articles are accepted on condition that they have not been published in any other journal. Articles including references, legends, case reports and footnotes must be type written in double space on one side of A4 size paper (8”X11”) leaving 1 ” margin on all sides. Do not use dot matrix printing. Do not use font size of less than 12. Pages should be numbered consecutively. One copy on paper and one copy in a floppy disc or compact disc should be sent to the Editor at the address given below. Please make sure that floppies and CD’s are free of viruses. Manuscripts should be in English and arranged in the fol-lowing general headings: 1. Title page should contain the name (s) of authors, the highest degree, the institution and the city where the work is carried out and the permanent address at which communications can be sent. This should be followed by text and summary. 2. The text should contain the abstract and key words, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowle
