Factors influencing raw milk structure and quality indexes analysis in one of Lithuanian cooperative company

The aim of this work was to find out factors influencing raw milk structure and quality index from one of Lithuanian cooperative companies. During studies it was analysed and valued one cooperative company’s milk structure and quality index of 2013-2014 year, analysing various factors such as year influence, season influence and farm size. By this time this survey covers 29 milk farm indexes by evaluating these factors: fat content of milk and protein, somatic cell counts (SCC), bacterial contamination, inhibitory substances and freezing point of milk. Analyzing years, farm size and season factors influence to milk structure and quality indicators, we found that inhibitory substances and bacterial contamination were larger in 2013 than in 2014.
