In the last decade or so there has been an important revival ofinterest in Aristotle\u27s Ethics. The revival is chiefly associated withAlasdair MacIntyre\u27s work, After Virtue, but it can be traced toRawls\u27 provocative work, A Theory ofJustice, in which he\u27raised focusanew, and with intense concentratiqn, on the age-old issue of theprinciples of justice. Of course in a larger historical context, the interestin Aristotlian ethics goes back to Aristotle himself, because theauthor had important things to say on the subject
