Im ersten Teil der Arbeit wurde eine Synthesemethode für vier cisoide heteroleptische Dirhodium(II)-Komplexe mit tetradentaten Templat-Liganden entwickelt. Die Liganden mit einem 2,2'-(1H-1,2,3-Triazol-1,4-diyl)dibenzoat-Rückgrat tragen in para-Stellung unterschiedliche Substituenten, um die Katalysatoreigenschaften zu beeinflussen. Die in fünf bis zehn Stufen hergestellten Katalysatoren wurden in intermolekularen Cyclopropanierungs- und C–H Insertionsreaktionen mit diversen Substraten und Diazoverbindungen getestet. Effizienzuntersuchungen zeigten die Eignung dieser neuartigen Komplexe für derartige Reaktionen.
