Tarımsal yapılardan beklenen en önemli özellikler depolanacak ürünler veya içerisinde yaşayacak canlılar için en uygun çevre koşullarının yaratılması ve uzun süre güvenle kullanılabilmeleridir. Tarımsal yapıların inşasında mümkün olan en ucuz, güvenli ve arzu edilen optimum çevre koşullarını yaratabilen malzemeler kullanılmalıdır. Seçilecek malzemeler yeterli dayanım ve dayanıklılığa sahip, ısı ve ses yalıtımı yüksek ve hafiflik gibi niteliklerde olmalıdır. Tarımsal yapıların genellikle tek katlı olmaları ve fazla yük etkisinde kalmamaları sebebiyle malzeme seçimlerinde ısı yalıtımlarının yüksek olması ve hafif olması önem kazanmaktadır. Dünyada yapı malzemesi olarak betonun kullanımının yaygınlaşmasından beri, betonun hafif, ucuz ve daha iyi yalıtım özelliğine sahip olmasına yönelik çalışmalar önem kazanmıştır. Uygulama kolaylığına sahip hafif beton son yıllarda önemli bir yapı malzemesi olmuştur. Hafif betonun yapı malzemesi olarak kullanılması ile yapı yükünün azaltılması dolayısıyla malzeme yönünden ekonomi, depreme karşı dayanıklılık, ısı ve ses yalıtımı için ikinci bir yalıtım malzemesi kullanımının ortadan kalkması gibi yararlar sağlanabilmektedir. Bu araştırmada bitkisel bir atık olan ayçiçeği saplarının beton üretiminde agrega olarak kullanılabilirliği araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla 300 ve 400 dozajda 12 konu oluşturulmuş ve beton örnekleri hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan örneklerin fiziksel ve mekanik özellikleri ile termal özellikleri belirlenerek ayçiçeği sapının agrega olarak kullanılabilirliği araştırılmıştır. Araştırmamızın sonucunda beton üretiminde karışıma girecek ayçiçeği sapı miktarının kullanım amacına ve dozaja bağlı olarak %20 ile %40 arasında olması tavsiye edilmektedir.The most important characteristics of agricultural constructions are being created the most suitable environment conditions for existences who live in agricultural constructions and being used for a long time in confidence.The chosen materials must have resistantness and lightness.The heat and sound isolations of the chosen materials must be high.Usually the agricultural constructions have got single flor and don’t carry extra weight.For this reason the lightness and heat isolation highness of the chosen materials obtain importance. In the world concrete use spread.The concrete must be light,cheap and good isolation.For this reason the concrete workings obtained importance.The light concrete using for construction materials.Therefore construction weight decreasing,economy being driven on the right.The constructions being strong for earthquake.For the heat and sound isolation using the second isolation material being annihilated.Consequently advantages being driven on the right. In this investigation, the possibilities that can be used of organic wastes (sunflower stems) at the light concrete producing been searched.For this reason twelve subjects with three hundred and four hundred dosages been taken form and concrete models prepared.The physical and mechanical characteristics of concrete models been defined. The end of the investigation at the concrete production join a quantity of the sunflower stems in mixture.This mixture must be adviced between twenty percent and forty percent in dependent on use objective and dosages
