AIM : We reviewed literature describing the incorporation of integrative therapies in intensive care units. We aimed to elicit an overall picture of research and find existing knowledge gaps on this topic. DESIGN : We conducted a scoping review guided by Arksey and O’Malley's methodological framework and were guided by the PRISMA-ScR Checklist. METHODS : Various databases were searched for relevant literature. English language articles published between 1999 and 2019 were retrieved. Data were extracted based on sample, sample size, methodology, findings and implications for practice. RESULTS : From 275 studies retrieved, 30 were included, based on the inclusion criteria.
