Досліджено поняття запасів, документальне забезпечення, класифікацію та їх оцінку; синтетичний та аналітичний рух запасів на підприємстві; наукові праці вітчизняних та зарубіжних вчених у сфері економіки; фінансову стійкість та основні показники діяльності підприємства та ефективність використання запасів. Запропоновано шляхи удосконалення організації та методики ведення обліку, внутрішнього контролю запасів та на підставі проведеного аналізу напрями підвищення ефективності використання запасів на досліджуваному підприємстві.The work deals with the theoretical aspects and features of the current practice of accounting, control and analysis of inventories based on Production and Commercial Firm «Perlyna Polissia», LLC, identifies problematic issues of the topic, analyzes the efficiency and intensity of inventory use. Author explores the concept of inventories, documentary support, classification and estimation; synthetic and analytical movement of inventories at the enterprise; scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of economics; financial stability and main indicators of activity of the enterprise and inventories utilization efficiency. Author offers ways to improve the organization and methodology of accounting, internal inventory control and, based on the analysis, directions for improving the inventories utilization efficiency at the investigated enterprise
