Jorge paolantonio and the catamarqueña cultural identity: an analysis from the cultural perspective

Este artículo se plantea como objetivo analizar y explicar los modos en los que se materializa el tratamiento literario de la identidad cultural de la provincia de Catamarca en la novela Algo en el aire (2004) del argentino Jorge Paolantonio. La interpretación desde una perspectiva cultural de algunos elementos de su narrativa permite hipotetizar un registro del proceso de afectivación y refracción de esa identidad, a partir de su exilio, su formación literaria y su vida en Buenos Aires.This article aims to analyze and explain the ways in which the literary treatment of the cultural identity of the province of Catamarca is materialized in the novel Algo en el aire (2004) by the Argentinian Jorge Paolantonio. The interpretation from a cultural perspective of some elements of his narrative allows us to hypothesize a record of the process of affectation and refraction of that identity, from his exile, his literary training, and his life in Buenos Aires
