(in English): The aim of this bachelor thesis is to answer the meaning of the title including substance of the whole work Nothing (Andrea) by Carmen Laforet. Referring to three possible theories, the thesis analyzes the feminism, its literal connectedness and relationship with Spanish culture. The existentialism and little-known tremendismo are analyzed in the same way. Subsequently, these theories are illustrated with passages from the novel and supplemented by studies that deepen aspects of selected topics. Since each theory offers different meaning of the word nothing, the conclusion summarizes all of them and offers one as primary
