The neutral states in the 21st century

Przedmiotem pracy jest analiza współczesnej koncepcji neutralności na przykładzie czterech europejskich państw - Austrii, Szwajcarii, Szwecji oraz Finlandii. W ramach niniejszego opracowania omówiono zarówno wewnętrzne, jak i zewnętrzne aspekty funkcjonowania państw neutralnych w kontekście bezpieczeństwa. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiono podstawowe informacje dotyczące genezy i rodzajów neutralności oraz czynników wpływających na redefinicję pojęcia po upadku Żelaznej Kurtyny. Drugi rozdział zawiera analizę polityki bezpieczeństwa państw neutralnych w XXI wieku. Ostatnia część poświęcona została zagadnieniu aktywności międzynarodowej Austrii, Szwajcarii, Szwecji i Finlandii w aspekcie budowy współczesnej architektury bezpieczeństwa.The subject of the master's thesis is the analysis of the modern concept of neutrality with reference to four european countries - Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland. The thesis contains either internal or international aspects of the functioning of states in the context of security. It consists of three chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical reflection on genesis and various types of neutrality and the crucial factors that influenced the redefinition of neutrality after the collapse of the Iron Curtain. The theme of the second part is the analysis of security policies of neutral states in the 21st century. The last chapter is dedicated to the issue of the international involvement of Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland in terms of creating a modern security architecture
