Recently I decided to make a career transition from the world of cable television management into the educational realm. Fortunately, the transition was successful, and I have just completed my first year of full time teaching. When electing a topic for a thesis, I focused on an opportunity to address an area of concern that has generated from my interests in both the cable industry and education: Cable in the Classroom. Culture in the United States has become visually oriented with an inundation of information and entertainment through the visual realm.
