99 p.In this work, solvent vapour annealing is used to control the morphology in blends of an air stable polythiophene derivative, poly (PQT) and [6,6] phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM). Furthermore, the effects of solvent vapour annealing on the device efficiency are also investigated. Systematic studies using atomic force microscopy (AFM), optical microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy are carried out to understand the morphological changes in the blends when exposed to different solvent vapours. It was observed that the use of high vapour pressure solvents such as tetrahydrofuran (THF) lead to enhanced vibronic splitting in the UV-spectrum; indicating high structural ordering in the polymer.Master of Eng...
