Analisis jaringan jalan hutan dan manfaatnya bagi beaya pengusahaan hutan

The purpose of this research were to find out the road density in Perhutani (Forest State Enterprise) Unit I Central Javato know the effect of stand, topography, skidding and transportation costs for the road density and to know the contribution of optimal road networking for forest harvesting cost. The research was started by collected data: They consisted of variation of topographyroad construction costsskidding costand road length in each Forest District.The data were analyzed by Von Sagebaden method.The data were collected from March to April 1999. The result showed that there was a variation of road density in Perhutani Unit I Central Java. In some district, actual road density more than optimum road density but in the others, actual road density less than optimum road density. Furthermore, average road density in the teak forest was higher than optimum road density. Average road density in the tusam forest was less than optimum road density (about 1.27 ml Ha.).
