An oral history with Mr. Steven Nguyen, born in 1961 in Saigon, Vietnam. He was a student in Saigon until leaving Vietnam in 1990. After the fall of Saigon, he came to America via Thailand, to Seattle, and finally California where he took classes while looking for work. Once in California, he first settled in Norwalk, then Westminster, and finally settled in Anaheim until present day. He discussed his memories growing up as a kid in Saigon with brothers and a father who was a high-ranking official in the Army. He also discussed how he left Vietnam through the Orderly Departure Program. Today, he lives happily with his wife and two kids in Anaheim, California as a technician for a printing company.Recorded Digitall
