Following a brief description of preparation techniques and structural features, some of the magnetic properties of metallic glasses are reviewed including the existence of conflicting collective magnetic orders, anisotropy, magneto-elastic and/or magneto-optic coupling, magnetic microstructures and hysteretic effects.
