Unattended out-of-hospital deliveries account for 0.5% of the total number of birth in France. This type of delivery remains an emergency for the mother and the child because of the accidental nature of the delivery and its significant risk. With the closure of maternity wards, the number of unexpected out-of-hospital deliveries could considerably increase in the years to come. If so, what would be the obstetric and neonatal outcomes? We propose to conduct a retrospective case-control study from 1 january 2012 to 31 december 2017 on 90 deliveries (45 in each group).
