Land use is an instrument which enables enlargement of an agricultural farm area without bearing expenses for land purchase. Land use – opposite to land purchase – increases the land mobility degree. The property and structural transformations in agriculture in 1991 influenced greatly the grounds mobility increase through the use and caused the farm area enlargement and as a result the production scale increases. The degree of grounds mobility through the use is presented by analysing the used grounds dimensions of the withdrawn farms and used farms according to the state at the end of 1998, 2002 and 2007
