Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) began to receive significant attention in the United States following the Vietnam War when experts reported that approximately 30 % of Vietnam veterans were afflicted. Recent estimates for Soldiers returning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan with PTSD symptoms run even higher. While the country continues efforts to find solutions and treatments for PTSD, a problem of utmost importance directly affecting our nation's security, the body of literature continues to grow.
