«Pedagogical journal» (Poltava, 1914–1917) and its role in the development of domestic education

Стаття присвячена вивченню педагогічних ідей, що знайшли своє відображення в педагогічній періодиці ХХ століття. У дослідженні репрезентовано як саме система національної освіти виступає сутнісним і об’єктивним акумулятором історико-педагогічних традицій народу, змін у соціальному та духовному житті суспільства, що склалися протягом тривалої генези його існування. Наголошено на тому, що пошук актуальних орієнтирів в освіті вимагає неодмінного звернення до вітчизняного історико-педагогічного досвіду, повною мірою комплексно відбитому в педагогічній пресі. Окреслено перспективу вивчення педагогічної преси на прикладі «Педагогічного журналу», яка полягає в істотній допомозі сучасним теоретикам і практикам в галузі педагогічної науки в пошуку концептуальних відповідей на низку питань сучасності.The article is devoted to the study of pedagogical ideas, which are reflected in the pedagogical periodicals of the twentieth century. The study presents the system of national education as an essential and objective battery of historical and pedagogical traditions of the people, changes in the social and spiritual life of society, formed during the long genesis of its existence. It is stressed that the search for actual landmarks in education requires an indispensable appeal to the national historical and pedagogical experience fully reflected in the pedagogical press. The perspective of studying the pedagogical press on the example of the "Pedagogical Journal" is outlined, which consists in essential assistance to modern theorists and practitioners in the field of pedagogical science in search of conceptual answers on a number of issues of our time
