THE MAGRATH TRADING COMPANY LIMITED Over fifty ladies attended une closing party of the Magrath First Ward Relief Society in the Relief Society room Tuesday, which was gaily decorated with chapeaus of every des­cription* As each lady arrived she was requested to make a miniature hat which were use for table favors. Mrs. Mary Margaret Blumell was in charge of the program which featured the singing of original songs made up to honor the officers and teachers of the.Relief. Society. Mrs. Jill Harker, in charge of singing, accompanied Mrs* Iola Harker in singing the various songs with everyone joining in singing the choruses. Floral corsages were presented to the retiring officers - Mrs. Vinessa Hamilton, president; Mrs. Winnie Ehlert and Mrs. Ruth Rice, councellors; and Mrs. Marjorie Coleman secretary. A delicious lundh . was servied under the direction of Mrs. Doreen Alston assisted by Mesdames Joan Farren, * Ruth Johnson and Betty Harris. The tables were decórated with bouquets of spring flowers. Thatoa of the event was "Hats Off to Relief Society", and the afternoon was enjoyed by all. This year’s presentation will be made Monday evening at 8 P.M. at the regular Raymond Air Cadet Squadron’s meeting. Winner of the tro­phy last year was LAC Orton Minor. t Friends will be sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Mr. Carl Dahl of Salt lake City, Utah. He passed away Tuesday night at the age of 55 years. A former resident of Raymon where he was engaged in the Oil business with his brother Lloyd, Mr. Dahl is survived by his widow the former LaRee Fb-ssey, and children Monte,'Denisé, Elaine, Sandra, Wendy and Devon. Funeral services will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, Saturday at 1 P.M.
