Difficulties in Inheriting Traditional handicrafts and the Countermeasures-- A Case Study of Gauze Paper Making Process in Gongehuan, GuangXi

采用参与观察法和问卷调查法对贡川纱纸业的传承情况进行调查,认为纱纸工艺背后文化心理的缺失,纱纸工艺僵化单调、产品缺乏创新等是贡川纱纸传承陷入困境的主要原因,并提出要有意识地对传统纱纸进行革新,通过增加经济效益来激发当地人传承纱纸工艺的热情,让当地人正确理解纱纸工艺的文化价值并使其将传统工艺的保护与传承成为自觉行为等对策。Having investigated the inheritance of gauze paper industry in Gongchuan by means of field work and questionnaire analysis, the author holds that the difficulties in inheriting gauze paper industry result from the absence of cultural psychology for gauze paper craft, dullness of the craft, and the lack of product innovation. The author also proposes some countermeasures such as innovating traditional gauze paper processing crafts; inspiring local people to inherit the crafts by increasing its economic effect, and helping local people to have an appropriate understanding of the cultural value of traditional crafts so that they will conserve and inherit the traditional gauze paper crafts on their own initiative.广西民族大学壮学中心项目“广西壮族传统工艺调查研究”(2006);广西民族大学重点项目“贡川壮族传统纱纸工艺保护研究”(2005
