Le repas: un contexte structurant dans la socialisation alimentaire. Le cas des repas partagés entre enfants

National audienceFor a few years, the awareness by the public authorities of the rise of obesity in the children has contributed to increaseresearch in social sciences. This research tries to better understand the food practices in order to seek levers of action to encourage young consumers to eat in more balanced way. In this context, this paper examines the food behaviors and the social interactions created around the meals taken between children. It points out that the meals between children are structured around the food preferences of each child and highlights the diversity of the mechanisms of influence and interactions in the group of peers.Depuis quelques années, la prise de conscience pa les pouvoirs publics de la montée de l’obésité chez les enfants a contribué à redynamiser les recherches en sciences humaines. Ces recherches tentent de mieux comprendre les pratiques alimentaires afin d’identifier des leviers d’action pour inciter les jeunes consommateurs à manger de façon plus équilibrée. Dans ce contexte, ce papier examine les comportements alimentaires et les interactions sociales créées autour des repas pris entre enfants.Il souligne que les repas entre pairs sont structurés autour des préférences alimentaires de chaque enfant et met en évidence la diversité des mécanismes d’influence et d’interactions dans le groupe de pairs
