Every year WPI designs a FSAE race car with the goal of going to Michigan for the FSAE competition. The design of the 2007 race care started with the research into the front suspension of race cars. We then improved upon the basic idea of a race car suspension based on our design criteria. We use Pro/Mechanica as our Finite Element Program to reduce the weight of the front hub, front brake rotors, and front shafts, with out sacrificing strength
