The goal of this project was to design and manufacture braking, steering, electrical and shifting systems for WPI\u27s 2005 Formula SAE race car. The team researched and analyzed controls systems and past FSAE vehicles to design which would meet the rules of the 2005 FSAE competition. These systems were concurrently engineered with the rest of the vehicle to provide increased levels of performance and driver ergonomics
