Russian tailors are busy at work at the back of this workshop while cobblers labor behind the screened-wire wall to the right in the prison camp at Stendal. Apprentices also gained the opportunity to learn a trade that would help them find work after the war.https://scholarworks.wmich.edu/wwi_pow_camps/1439/thumbnail.jp
