<p><sup>#</sup> The proportion of the variability explained by all variables combined was obtained in sequential tests using R<sup>2</sup> selection criterion and Forward selection procedure. The overall best solution was obtained using the Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC), using all possible combinations of variables. <i>P</i>-values were calculated using 9,999 permutations.
