Over the past two decades neo liberalism has\ud shaped global economic activity. The international reach of the current economic crisis propelled by\ud the subprime mortgage meltdown in the United States has affected Indigenous communities in\ud different ways to those whose investments were depleted by the Wall Street activities of an\ud unregulated corporate and banking sector.
