The Costa Rica National Parks Foundation has started a project to create a 70,000 ha park to protect what remains of the dry forest that once covered meso-america. This 'Ecological restoration' project includes the present Santa Rosa National Park as well as the adjacent volcanoes and forests. Janzen.
