This Estuary Management Plan was prepared under the direction of the Wallaga Lake Estuary Management Committee (EMC) and in accordance with the NSW State Government’s Estuary Management Policy. The process for developing the plan included the preparation of a number of component plans presented as Figures in Appendix B of this report reflecting the EMC and community’s input on aspects such as the key values of Wallaga Lake, opportunities and constraints to various management strategies, and objectives for the management of the lake and surrounds.
