The objectives of this research were to find out (1) the kinds of turn taking used by the English teachers in EFL classroom interaction, (2) the kinds of turn taking used by among the students in the EFL classroom interaction, and (3) how the English teacher and the students take their turn in the EFL classroom interaction. This research employed descriptive qualitative research. It applied purposive random sampling technique in selecting sample.
