The bachelor thesis titled Roof garden as a progressive form of public city space aims to prove that the roof garden is, in a way, an important element of urban environment. The theoretical part explains the basic terms related to this topic, the history of roof gardens and also their importance in the present day. The thesis also introduces the concrete examples of roof gardens in the Czech Republic and abroad.
