Lázeňský park-historie a současnost

This thesis discusses the history of the spa park and its present. The first part handles the literary review focused on the explanation of the terms relating to the spa park. Subsequently, the work focuses on the developement of spa park in the West Bohemia Region with an emphasis on the largest spa cities Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně and Františkovy Lázně. The second part is focused on the model territory Františkovy Lázně. Introduction discusses the description of the monitored area, in which they are subsequently defined specific functions of the spa park places. Based on historical and modern photographs functions of the spa park are defined, both historical and current focused on subsistence activities of patients. The described funktions of the model territory resulted principles for providing these features, which are described on the model territory of this city. Analytical part of this thesis discusses the role of the park in greenery system of the spa places and compositional principles applied on the monitored area. In conclusion, there is a overall evaluation of the functions with the intentions of the city management for the future
