The bachelor thesis Landscape study of a model area focuses on the Slanské Hills in the municipalities of Zámutov and Juskova Voľa. It is a region with very valuable nature areas, distinctive beech forests and volcanic mountains. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part includes a literary overview, which should be the basis for the following sections. The second part is analytical and has three sections: primary, secondary and tertiary structure of the area. The primary structure evaluates what nature itself created, the secondary one focuses on human intervention in the area and the tertiary structure assesses the area on the socio-economic level. The third and last part is the design proposal. The proposal is based on the analysis of the second part and is primarily focused on a chestnut alley in Zámutov and a quarry in Juskova Voľa. The proposal seeks to promote the recreational potential of the area and highlight unnoticed and interesting sites
