Genové zdroje a jejich význam pro šlechtění okrasných rostlin

Resume The bachelor work deals with the difficulty of gene sources of decorative wood species in Czech Republic and abroad. We tried to gain information about the current state of decorative wood species in Czech Republic and concerning research institutions that are involved in the process of gene pool preservation, especially using the forms ex situ, in situ, on farm, in vitro. The Crop Research Institute in Prague, Ruzyně is the main research institution for plant production and is also covering all other research centres, organizations and institutions in Czech Republic. We focused on National Program for genetic sources of agricultural plants and its coordination. It was vital to introduce information connected to genetic sources of decorative wood species. The main aim of our bachelor work was oriented to history and present of genetic sources of decorative wood species and summing-up of complex information about the collection state in Czech Republic an abroad
