Rapid urbanization and migration and its impact on demographic aspects, Case study South Africa, Johannesburg region

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the impact of urbanization and migration in South Africa on demographic aspects. The theoretical part defines the terms urbanization, migration, integration and poverty. It also enables complex review of available sources and brings current view on the topic. The case study complements the theoretical part. It offers a research conducted on the basis of statistical analyses and data comparison. The conclusion of the thesis includes several recommendations for further improvement of the socio-economic status of the South African inhabitants
