Přínosy implementace systému environmentálního řízení ve vybraném podniku

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to define the potential benefit of environmental management system in TON, a.s. company for the firm and the region, based on analysis of implementation of environmental management system according to ISO 14001 standard. In the theoretical part the literary base of concept of sustainability of the region is created, on whose principles are built the environmental management systems (EMS). Their specifications, classification and comparison are subject of the literary part, too. The practical part deals with the characteristics of the company profile, strategic focus and economic stability. Further, the process of the implementation of EMS in the firm and the assessment of environmental impact by using the analysis of progression are defined. Following on this evaluation, recommendations are designed with the aim to improve current status of the environmental aspect of the company, and thereby identify other possible benefits for the firm and region
