This diploma thesis characterizes the region of Central Brdy from the perspective of natural conditions, historical development and utilization. Former Brdy military training area became a part of PLA Brdy in 2016, whereby new options for touring and recreation were created. By this, new opportunities in development of the infrastructure and commercial activities for adjoining municipalities were made. As a main objective of the thesis, recreation potential of the region is determined using selected methods.
