The subject of the Diploma Thesis was to summarize all the data published either from scientific papers or collected during the experiments, relating to the possibility of using topmouth gudgeon as fish food. The main part is composed of the results and conclusions obtained from the experiments conducted in the model recirculation system, under controlled conditions. The experiments were focused on the feed preferences of the pikeperch (Sander lucioperca), for the given size category of the topmouth gudgeon (Pseudorasbora parva), stimulation of the food intake of the pikeperch in the conditions with different amounts of topmouth gudgeon, and on the intraspecific competition for food in cases with different numbers of the stocked pikeperch. ...
