Elektronický mýtný systém v ČR u vozidel nad 3,5 t

This Thesis, in its theoretical part, describes the history of collecting the tolls and the technology of its collection, where every each technology is closely elaborated, including their advantages / disadvantages and mutual interoperability, and is especially focused on the principle of toll collection in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part includes also legislative basis together with the responsible institutions scheme and individual elements of the control and the definition of the foundational concepts in this field. The applicative part of this Thesis deals with the technologies used abroad, The European Electronic Toll Service. The concept of interoperability formerly mentioned and described in the theoretical part, appears now in the context of The European Electronic Toll Service and is further described in more details and also from a user perspective. The applicative part of this Thesis includes also exploration of the handicaps (risks) of OBU units and toll gates, revealed from the users point of view, with possible suggestions for their elimination
