The diploma thesis deals marketing of the city Tábor. The aim of the thesis is to make an analysis of the current state, to evaluate the use of its cultural potential for marketing, to identify possible shortages with which the city deals with as the part of its marketing activities and to make possible proposals. The thesis also points out possibility to use marketing in public administration area. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic terms related to urban marketing and it also serves as a basis for introduction the topic of urban marketing.
