ERP systems and their influence on international trade

This thesis deals with ERP systems. First, it describes the architecture and individual components of ERP solutions. Basic concepts on this issue are explained. Additionally are mentioned the possible advantages and disadvantages of using ERP software and comparison of individual suppliers. The next part describes the global and czech ERP markets. From the practical point of view, the thesis focuses on the study of the process of implementation in selected companies and the influence of ERP on individual functional areas of the company. The last part summarizes the results of the literature review and the field research. Furthermore, the possibilities of improving the quality of ERP systems from the point of view of the needs of international companies are also defined
