Trade relations between the European Union, its individual Member States and Russian Federation

The focus of this Bachelor thesis is the analysis of mutual trade relations between the European Union and the Russian Federation. This work takes into account, among other things, the events of recent years, such as sanctions or the drop in oil prices. The first chapter describes both the European Union and the Russian Federation primarily from an economic point of view and over the years 2011-2015. The second chapter deals with trade policy and agreements between the EU and Russia. The last chapter discusses the mutual trade of these two territories with regard to commodity and territorial structures. The relations between three EU Member States - Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland - and Russia are analysed in more detail. In addition, the last part of the thesis includes a reflection on the potential future of the EU-Russia relations
