The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the processes of recruitment and selection of employees in the construction company Metrostav a. s. and to suggest possible measures. The thesis is divided into two parts - a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part describes the phases, principles and methods of recruiting and selecting employees using the specialized literature. The practical part is focused on the analysis of these two personnel activities in the company Metrostav a. s. It is mainly based on the company's website, provided internal materials and an interview with Mgr. Jana Kořínková, MBA, who is the head of the personnel marketing department in the company Metrostav a. s
