Environmental management in a waste-water treatment plant from the perspective of valid legislation

This bachelor thesis evaluates impacts in compliance with environmental legislation, both Czech and European, in a waste-water treatment plant in Henčlov (Přerov region). Apart from providing description of the current situation and an evaluation of impacts, the final remarks deal with suggestions for an improvement. The thesis starts with an introduction of issues of the environmental management and the role of legislation in the environmental protection. The thesis mentions factual legislation as well as limits and duties, which relate to issues of the waste-water treatment plants. The practical part of the thesis begins with a characteristic of the aforementioned waste-water treatment plant in Přerov and its parent company Vodovody a kanalizace Přerov, a.s. in regards of their relation to the environment.
