Perioperative hypothermia is defined as a decrease in body core temperature below 36 řC. This decrease is associated with an increase of perioperative and postoperative complications with consequent prolongation of the hospitalization. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part describes the problems of perioperative hypothermia, possibilities of preventive measures and nursing care in gynaecological operations. The results of body temperature measured in 70 patients are analyzed in empirical part. The patiens had gynaecological problems and were operated more than 90 minutes. This was followed depending on parametrs (BMI, ASA, operating time, type of surgery, age, blood loos), which may affect the incidence hypothermia. The method..
