In addition, the types of anaesthesia and its indications, the contraindications for individual types of anaesthesia and their advantages and disadvantages were described. The empirical part was based on a questionnaire survey that was carried out at the Regional Hospital Kolín, gynecological-obsteric department and the ICU, on women terminating the delivery with caesarean section.
