The Design of Hotel Foundations

The bachelor thesis discusses the possible ways of surface and underground establishing the basics of structures and buildings in his first part. In the second, practical part is being resolved a safe and economical foundation of a multi-functional building (a hotel) in Brno - Pisárky within the given geological conditions . Even though the proposed variants are calculated without the use of computational software, software PLAXIS is used to compare the results. The conclusion contains the comparison and evaluation of the results of both approaches
