Assessment of the water flow in the Morava river basin

The bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of a part of the stream Romže which is managed by the Povodí Moravy, s. p. The Romže is located in the urban area of the village Držovice. There is a defined area with a potentially significant flood risk. The description of the current condition of the river part is based on the inspection and background materials. The calculations for assessment of channel capacity and the capacity of objects in the location were made by the 1D program HEC-RAS. The individual cross-sections and the N-year flow of the river were put in the program. Based on these results, near-natural flood protection measures for designed channel capacity of the river have been designed
