Female and male gender of nouns of professions (analysis based on corpus data)

The bachelor thesis Female and male gender of nouns of professions (analysis based on corpus data) is divided into two parts. The theoretical part sums up the rules for gender inflection of professions in present-day Spanish. The theoretical part presents a comparison of various spanish grammar books, which deal with this topic. The section dedicated to the practical results attained from the research was completed by analysing selection of nouns of professions. This research was carried out with the aid of the synchronous spanish corpus: CORDE, CREA and CORPES XXI
