This bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. The first part contains the translation of the chapter "Motivation" from Sport Psychology. This specialized book discusses various aspects of sport psychology, such as attention and concentration, management of stress, and mental preparation. The chapter "Motivation" by Robert S. Weinberg focuses on goal setting, goal orientation, reinforcement and feedback, and intrinsic motivation. The second part contains translation analysis, the description of a translation method, the typology of translation problems as well as their solutions, and the typology of translation shifts
